The oldest order in Rise, the Oathkeepers predate every living pack and most living wolves. They are sworn to neither Anarket nor Malaket exclusively; they are sworn to both, believing that life and death are not opposites but partners, and that to honor one without the other is to misunderstand the world entirely. They are scholars, diplomats, and when necessary, warriors, but they are most recognised for their treatment of Grievers, the soul-ushering wolves who walk the boundary between the living and the dead. Where other packs fear or avoid Grievers, the Oathkeepers honor them as sacred.
