To the Bone is a high fantasy, literate play-by-post wolf roleplay
set in the land of Rise—a world shaped by two gods, ancient magic,
and the wolves who have learned to live between them.
This site is recommended for ages 16 and up.
By registering, you confirm that you meet the age recommendation
and agree to engage with this community in good faith.
Rise is a community first and a game second.
Members are expected to treat one another with respect
both in character and out of it. Harassment, targeted hostility,
or behaviour intended to harm another member's experience
will not be tolerated and may result in removal without warning.
What your character does is not what you do.
Keep the fiction in the fiction.
Mature content—violence, dark themes, and sensitive subjects—is permitted
within reason and must be appropriately tagged.
Explicit sexual content is not permitted anywhere on the site.
Content involving minors in harmful contexts
will result in an immediate and permanent ban.
Staff reserve the right to request edits to any content
deemed inappropriate for the community.
All characters must be wolf or predominantly wolf in species.
Members should read the guidebook and follow the character creation
guidelines before applying for administrator activation.
Characters must have an approved profile before writing.
Godmodding, powerplaying, and metagaming undermine the story
for everyone. Play your character. Let others play theirs.
Staff decisions are final. If you have a concern,
bring it to us privately and calmly. We are approachable
and genuinely want this to be a good experience for everyone!
